Faced with the heat wave, a British cinema chain offers free seats to red-haired customers

UNITED KINGDOM – Due to the upcoming scorching temperatures in the UK, thehe Showcase cinema chain is offering free admission to people with red hair on Monday July 18 and Tuesday July 19.
The reason given? According to studies, these people are more sensitive to the sun and heat than others.
They will therefore be able to collect one ticket per day, over these two days, in any Showcase cinema in the United Kingdom, reports The Independent.

“While the UK is enjoying some much-needed sunny weather, we know how hard some people can find the heat to bear,” says Mark Barlow, Managing Director of Showcase Cinemas.
“That’s why, to face the heat wave, we are offering redheads free access to our cinema screens this Monday and Tuesday, so that they can enjoy some of the films on offer in the comfort of our rooms. air-conditioned, and that they remain protected from the sun”, he adds.
Temperatures could reach 40 degrees next week for the first time in UK history.
