Industrial companies, Basque Country Industry Territories, the Basque Country Agglomeration Community, Pôle Emploi, and the UIMM Adour Atlantique are mobilizing on Thursday, October 6 to recruit new employees in the industrial sector
Pôle Emploi and the industrial actors of the territory are mobilizing Thursday, October 6 at the Boucau agency to encourage new vocations among “public, young people, schoolchildren, parents, job seekers…”. More than 400 job offers in Pyrénées-Atlantiques, including 200 in the Basque Country and Seignanx sector, are currently available. “The economic upturn, particularly in the aeronautics sector, allows us to project some 800 job vacancies to be filled in Pyrénées-Atlantiques”, warns Pôle Emploi. This Thursday, no less than 130 offers will be offered.
Recruitment in industry, cumulatively, between September 2021 and August 2022 increased by more than 7% in the Basque Country, i.e. nearly 5,351 recruitments excluding interims.

Pôle emploi, UIMM Adour Atlantique and their partners will be present at the Pôle Emploi branch in Le Boucau, from 9:30 a.m. to noon, alongside industrialists (metallurgy, agri-food, plastics, etc.), with fun tools available: virtual reality, videos and tablets.
